Where Scrap Metal Goes Where Scrap Metal Goes

Ever wonder where your scrap metal goes?

There are many advantages to recycling scrap metal.

Metals virtually have an unlimited lifespan. Steel is also the world's most recycled material which means it can be recycled again & again & again without reducing the quality of the product. The metal is melted and then moulded into new products. The benefit of this is to reduce the hundreds of millions of waste going into landfill. This also reduces the drastic energy costs as it is by far cheaper to use recycled waste opposed to producing new metals. A lot of scrap metals are sold overseas which helps offset the trade deficit.
